Direct losses in Ukraine have exceeded $135 billion USD, and the overall requirements for reconstruction and recovery are estimated at approximately $411 billion USD. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ukrainian ownership in reconstruction <\/strong>\u2013 International partners undoubtedly have the right to approve fund allocations and exercise control over their proper use. However, it is crucial for Ukrainian authorities to remain responsible for planning, approving, and coordinating all projects related to recovery. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Role of communities in recovery<\/strong> \u2013 communities will be the initiators of reconstruction projects, and the development of their capacity is the key to fair and green reconstruction. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transparency and accountability<\/strong> \u2013 this is the core of recovery, creating trust, accelerating financial support, and overall progress in reconstruction. Our task is to build the highest level of transparency based on the principle of &#8220;everyone sees everything.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epc.eu\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Policy Centre<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussion topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ukraine&#8217;s compliance as a candidate with EU accession requirements<\/strong> \u2013 the latest progress check on implementing the list of reforms that Ukraine is undertaking to confirm its candidate status has
