Successful cooperation with international partners is critically important for Ukraine<\/strong>. The financing of priority state budget expenditures depends on this (internal revenues are directed to security and defence). That is why the RRR4U Consortium continues to regularly monitor <\/strong>Ukraine’s fulfillment of the terms of the IMF financing program and the implementation of the Ukraine Plan, the fulfillment of which is the basis for providing assistance from the EU within the Ukraine Facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fulfillment of obligations under financial support programs is not needed by donors – they are needed by Ukraine to achieve economic stability <\/strong>and transition to growth and increase the welfare of Ukrainians. And it is also a way to gain trust from all international partners and foreign businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 19, Ukraine reached a staff-level agreement with the IMF on the sixth review of the EFF program. <\/strong>Ukrainian <\/strong>authorities met all quantitative performance criteria and structural benchmarks set at the end of September. The revision should be approved by the IMF Executive Board<\/a> approximately in the second half of December. If so, Ukraine will receive another tranche of financing from the Fund in the amount of about USD 1.1 bn<\/strong>, <\/strong>and the total amount of payments under the program will reach <\/strong>about USD <\/strong>9.8 bn.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 14, the European Commission approved the allocation of another tranche to Ukraine for the implementation of the indicators of the Ukraine Plan, which had a deadline of the third quarter of 2024. On December 9, the Council of the EU approved second payment of close to EUR 4.1 bn under the Ukraine Plan<\/strong>, so soon Ukraine will receive the second regular payment for the performance of indicators. After receiving this payment, the total amount of support within the framework of the Ukraine Plan for 2024 will reach EUR 16.1 bn.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
